GSF 2020 Postponement Announcement

Dear Attendees, Exhibitors，

We are beyond disappointed to announce that for the first time in more than 32 years we will not have a Grocery & Specialty Food West event in Vancouver this spring. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the show will have to be postponed until April 26th and 27th 2021.

The Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers (CFIG) holds our participating Exhibitors, partners, attendees and staff in the highest regard and have no intention of taking any risk where this COVID-19 pandemic is concerned. Your well-being and safety is paramount to us. Although the BC Government’s directive banning all gatherings of 50 people or more was ultimately the deciding factor, we at CFIG consider people and community to be the pulse of all that we are and we have no doubt we will successfully move forward together at the right time.

GSF 2020 was poised to be our greatest version of this event ever. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience. We thank you for your support this year and we hope to continue having your support as we look to what will be a bigger and better version of GSF in 2021.

The outpouring of interest from our supplier community as well as our retailers has been unprecedented this year and all indications point towards a monumental event in 2021. We really appreciate your support during these times and look forward to working with you. Just let us know how we can help as we move forward towards GSF-West 2021.
